Product name: | Aqp2 (phospho S269) polyclonal antibody |
Product description: | Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against synthetic phosphopeptide of Aqp2. |
Gene id: | 25386 |
Gene name: | Aqp2 |
Gene alias: | AQP-2|MGC156502|aquaporin-2 |
Gene description: | aquaporin 2 (collecting duct) |
Immunogen: | Synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding S269 of rat Aqp2. |
Protein accession: | P34080 |
Form: | Liquid |
Recommend dilutions: | Western Blot (1:1000) The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user. |
Storage buffer: | In 10 mM HEPES, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.5 (50% glycerol, 0.1 mg/mL BSA) |
Storage instruction: | For long term store at -80°C is recommended, but shorter term storage at -20°C is also acceptable as aliquots may be taken without freeze/thawing due to the presence of 50 % glycerol. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
Product type: | Primary antibodies |
Host species: | Rabbit |
Antigen species / target species: | Rat |
Specificity: | This antibody has been directly tested for reactivity in Western blots with rat tissue. It is anticipated that This antibody will react with bovine, canine and mouse tissues based on the fact that these species have 100% homology with the amino acid sequence used as antigen. specific to the ~29k AQP2 protein phosphorylated at Ser269. Also recognizes the glycosylated form of AQP2 at ~ 37k. Immunolabeling of the AQP2 band is blocked by preadsorption with the phospho-peptide used as antigen but not by the corresponding dephospho-peptide. |
Reactivity: | Bovine,Dog,Mouse,Rat |
